A Buffet Lunch was held in a private room at the Alberton Hotel on Monday June 28th when Incoming President Robert (Bob) Loughhead was inducted for the year 2010-2011. < > City of Charles Sturt Mayor Harold Anderson attended and spoke to the new cultural diversity in the city which provides so much dynamism and broad food tasting experiences. He said there is now 103 identifiably different cultures, and the City has many challenges to accommodate the varied demands emanating from this mix. Mayor Anderson, who is an Honourary member of the Club, also painted a picture of the City's future which the Planning and Budgetary Committee Members were adopting. Rex Dix, who has served the club with distinction over many years, and who was President in 1975, was also recognised with an Honourary Membership.
